The comfortable crossing sets the tone, from mainland hustle to island tranquillity in just under an hour.
Disembarking into fresh sea air on the island, enjoy a relaxed, winding drive along the coast to the elegant Bembridge Coast Hotel. After a warm greeting, head to your room to unpack, unwind, and absorb your first glimpses of coastal beauty. Day 2 – Tuesday 19th May 2026: Gardens & Gentle Companions
After a hearty breakfast with sweeping sea views, day two begins with a journey to the south coast and the stunning Ventnor Botanic Gardens. Nestled in a sheltered microclimate, these award-winning gardens are home to a vibrant collection of rare and exotic plants from around the world. Stroll through Mediterranean terraces, tropical borders, and peaceful woodland walks, soaking up the sights and scents of nature in full bloom. In the afternoon, the pace softens with a heart-warming visit to the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. Set in beautiful countryside, this peaceful haven is home to over 100 rescued donkeys and ponies, all lovingly cared for by dedicated staff. Day 3 – Wednesday 20th May 2026: Cruising the Needles, Conquering the Castle

In the afternoon, step back in time with a visit to Carisbrooke Castle, a storied fortress steeped in royal history. Explore ancient battlements, walk the castle walls, and learn of its famous prisoner- King Charles I. With peaceful gardens, a working donkey wheel, and sweeping views across the countryside, this historic gem rounds off a day rich in discovery, beauty, and timeless charm.

Day 4 – Thursday 21st May 2026: Queen Victoria’s Seaside Retreat
Today, we step back in time with a memorable trip to Osborne House, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert’s beloved seaside retreat. Explore the lavish State Rooms where the royal family entertained distinguished guests, wander through the private family apartments for a glimpse into Victorian life, and admire the priceless art and furnishings collected from around the world. Outside, stroll through beautifully landscaped gardens, discover the Swiss Cottage built for the royal children, and relax along Osborne’s private beach with stunning views across the Solent. Combining history, elegance, and breathtaking scenery, this excursion promises a truly regal experience for all. On the return journey, enjoy some free time in Ryde, the Isle of Wight’s largest town, known for its golden sandy beaches, charming independent shops, and vibrant seafront. With its mix of leisure, shopping, and seaside charm, Ryde is the perfect place to round off your day.
Day 5 – Friday 22nd May 2026: Farewell Moments
As your Isle of Wight escape draws to a close, enjoy a final leisurely breakfast before checking out of the Bembridge Coast Hotel. With bags packed and memories made, it’s time to make your way back to the mainland.
