Grayscroft Coaches employs a team of full time engineers who keep our fleet moving. With over 60 years of experience between them there’s not much they haven’t seen before!
Our vehicles are safety inspected in our workshop every 42 days and are maintained to standards well above DVSA requirements. We take passenger safety extremely seriously and therefore do not believe in engineering budgets, replacement parts are only sourced from reputable, quality suppliers.
Our engineering processes are audited annually by external agencies such as the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), National Express, Stagecoach & Abellio Rail Replacement and our drivers daily defect checks are also regularly audited to ensure we maintain the highest possible practices.

Exceptionally High Standards
We believe our vehicles should be maintained to extremely high standards where they can pass their annual MOT tests at any time throughout the year and regularly pass these examinations on their 1st attempts. We even have our own in-house recovery vehicle but pride ourselves on only having to use it on very rare occasions! In the unfortunate event where our vehicle may experience a technical fault, getting our passengers moving again is first priority. We shall endeavour resume our journey within 1 hour by either rectification or replacement of the vehicle.
Industry Recognised
For over 5 years now we have held a Green OCRS Score for vehicle road worthiness. This means we have consistently been scored as ‘lowest risk’ for non compliance in regards to annual MOT and depot/vehicle roadside inspections.
