Upon arriving in the vibrant seaside town of Newquay, you'll have time to settle into your hotel and explore its facilities. With the evening free, enjoy your first meal and take a leisurely stroll around the local area, perhaps discovering the nearby beaches or charming town centre.
Day 2 – Monday 01st September 2025: Excursion to St Ives & Lands’ End
Today’s excursion to St Ives and Land’s End offers a captivating glimpse of Cornwall’s most iconic coastal gems. Begin your journey in St Ives, a picturesque fishing village renowned for its golden beaches, vibrant art scene, and charming cobbled streets. Stroll along the waterfront, visit the renowned Tate St Ives gallery, or simply enjoy a traditional Cornish pasty by the sea. After soaking up the beauty of St Ives, continue your adventure to Land’s End, the westernmost point of mainland England. Here, dramatic cliffs and breathtaking ocean views create the perfect backdrop for photos and exploration. This unforgettable day combines natural beauty, culture and history in the heart of Cornwall.
Day 3 – Tuesday 02nd September 2025: Day at Leisure in Newquay
Today offers the perfect opportunity to explore this vibrant seaside town at your own pace. Begin your day with a stroll along the iconic Fistral Beach, known for its golden sands and world-class surf, or venture to one of the other nearby beaches such as Tolcarne or Great Western. Explore Newquay’s charming town centre, filled with boutique shops, cozy cafés, and inviting seafood restaurants. Whether you're enjoying the natural beauty, indulging in local treats, or simply soaking up the laid-back atmosphere, Newquay provides the perfect setting for a day of relaxation and discovery.
Day 4 – Wednesday 03rd September 2025: Excursion to Padstow and Bodmin Jail with Cornish Cream Tea
We begin the morning in the picturesque fishing town of padstow, known for its vibrant harbour, quaint streets, and stunning beaches. Start by exploring the town's narrow alleyways, popping into local shops, or enjoying the scenic views of the Camel Estuary. If you're a fan of seafood, Padstow is renowned for its fish and chips, so why not stop by one of Rick Stein's famous eateries for a bite to eat? Alternatively, take a leisurely walk to Prideaux Place, a beautiful Elizabethan manor house with lovely gardens, or hop on a ferry across the river to Rock for a different perspective of the area.
In the afternoon, we head to Bodmin Jail, a fascinating and atmospheric historic site that offers a glimpse into Cornwall's darker past. Once a notorious 18th-centuary prison, it has been transformed into an interactive museum where you can learn about the grim history of the jail, its infamous prisoners and the Victorian justice system. After your visit, enjoy a traditional Cornish cream tea in the Jail's Cafe; fresh scones, clotted cream and jam, served with a steaming pot of tea.
Day 5 – Thursday 04th September 2025: A Coastal Goodbye
