Day 1 – Friday 22nd August 2025: Gateway to the Peaks – Discovering Matlock Bath's Charm

On Day 1 of your 3-day break to Matlock Bath, you'll be picked up from your doorstep in comfort, ready to begin your relaxing getaway. After a scenic drive, you'll arrive at the New Bath Hotel & Spa, where you can check in and unwind. The hotel offers a warm welcome and excellent amenities, including a spa for those looking to start their break with a little pampering. Once you're settled, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure. Day 2 – Saturday 23rd August 2025: Bakewell & Chatsworth House (Optional Extra £35p/p)

Today’s excursion to Bakewell offers a delightful experience in one of Derbyshire’s most picturesque market towns. Famous for its Bakewell tart, the town is full of charm with its cobbled streets, historic stone buildings, and the tranquil River Wye running through its heart. Spend your time exploring independent shops or sampling local treats at charming cafés. Visit the 12th-century All Saints Church or take a peaceful riverside walk over the iconic Bakewell Bridge. For those seeking more, there’s an optional extra visit to the magnificent Chatsworth House, one of Britain’s grandest stately homes, available for a small additional cost. Chatsworth offers stunning gardens, an impressive art collection, and beautifully preserved rooms, adding a touch of grandeur to your day out in the Peak District.

Day 3 – Sunday 24th August 2025 – Farewell to Matlock

Our final day is here where we’ll bid farewell to the peaceful charm of the Peak District. The return journey home includes a stop in Chesterfield, where you’ll have some free time to explore this historic market town. Famous for its crooked church spire, Chesterfield offers a range of activities, from browsing its bustling markets to exploring its rich history. After soaking up the sights, rejoin the coach for a comfortable and scenic journey home, reflecting on the wonderful memories of your Matlock adventure.
